Due to their ability to achieve full spatial and temporal real-time information acquisition, fisheye lenses meet the demands of modern warfare for information acquisition technology, which other optical detection methods cannot match. Therefore, fisheye lenses have important applications in defense and military fields.、
Fisheye lenses are also suitable for dome projection and irregular screen projection, such as full-dome, half-dome, and dome cap projections in large museums and exhibition halls.
Currently, dome projection projects mainly adopt the following schemes: single projection (a single projector placed near the center of the dome), dual projection (two projectors located at the poles of the dome), and multi-projection stitching (usually four, five, or more projectors).
