Zorsika SC201 projector lens, throw ratio 1.26–1.95:1, 0.67-inch panel, compatible with 47 Vivitek and Panasonic installation projectors.

The SC201 is a medium-to-long throw lens for 0.65/0.66/0.67 panel groups (Vivitek, Panasonic), with a throw ratio of 1.26–1.95:1 and lens shift. It is compatible with 47 projector models across 2 model series. This article lays out the lens specifications, installation distances, model compatibility list, and replacement key points all at once.

Shift capability is the key differentiator of this lens. A shift range of 110% horizontal and 50% vertical means the projector can be installed off the screen's center axis and the image brought back via lens shift, without resorting to keystone correction. Keystone correction comes at a cost—each step of correction loses a portion of actual pixels, and text edges become soft. In installation work, anything that can be solved with shift should never be solved with keystone correction; this is the baseline for image quality.
2. Converting Throw Ratio to Installation Distance
Throw ratio is the ratio of installation distance to image width. This lens is zoom (1.26–1.95:1), so the same image size corresponds to a range of distances; installation anywhere within this range will achieve focus.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inch | 2.15 m | approx. 2.71 – 4.19 m |
| 120 inch | 2.58 m | approx. 3.25 – 5.03 m |
| 150 inch | 3.22 m | approx. 4.06 – 6.29 m |
| 200 inch | 4.30 m | approx. 5.42 – 8.38 m |
The above are clear distances from the lens face to the screen, excluding rear ventilation and cabling space behind the chassis. Calculated for 16:10 aspect ratio; actual values subject to on-site measurement and the manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: toward the near end the image is brighter with slightly softer edges; toward the far end the edges are sharper with slightly reduced brightness. Where space permits, it is recommended to land in the middle of the range. After installation, first find the sharpest point on the focus ring, then fine-tune the shift—moving both variables at once makes it hard to find the sweet spot.

The zoom ratio is the zoom factor of the model's original standard lens (upper limit ÷ lower limit of the original throw ratio range), not the zoom range of the lens in this article.
Original Replaceable Lens Models
Among these models, 36 units can be fitted with original lenses; the corresponding throw ratios are listed in the table below for comparison with original solutions.
Panasonic Original Lenses
| Original Lens Model | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| ET-DLE020 | 0.280–0.299 |
| ET-DLE035 | 0.380 |
| ET-DLE055 | 0.785 |
| ET-DLE060 | 0.60–0.801 |
| ET-DLE085 | 0.782–0.977 |
| ET-DLE105 | 0.978–1.32 |
| ET-DLE150 | 1.30–1.89 |
| ET-DLE170 | 1.71–2.41 |
| ET-DLE250 | 2.27–3.62 |
| ET-DLE350 | 3.58–5.45 |
| ET-DLE450 | 5.36–8.58 |
The 1.26–1.95:1 of this article's model is closest in focal range to the original ET-DLE150 (1.30–1.89), allowing direct comparison for selection.
Common Characteristics of These Models
The original standard lens throw ratios of the 47 models are mostly concentrated in the 1.8–2.5:1 range. The 1.26–1.95:1 of this article's model represents an adjustment in focal range—the same projection distance can produce a different image size, which is precisely the direct reason for changing lenses; at the same time, full shift capability is retained, so the image can still be aligned after adjusting the focal range.
4. Three Things to Confirm Before Replacement
- The panel must fall within the same group. We group panels as follows: DLP side 0.65″/0.66″/0.67″ in one group, 0.8″ in one group, 0.96″ in one group, 0.47″/0.48″ in one group; LCD side 0.59″/0.63″/0.64″ in one group, 0.76″/1.0″ in one group. This model belongs to the 0.65/0.66/0.67 group; machines in the same group can be directly interchanged; cross-group installation will not fit, and forced installation will damage the DMD. For models with similar codes, it is still advisable to check the nameplate.
- Interface and locking structure. Interface compatibility is generally good within the same generation platform, but the locking latch positions differ between generations. If the image is skewed or edges are soft after installation, it is mostly because the lock is not fully engaged, not a problem with the lens itself.
- Shift margin must be factored into installation. The shift range leaves room for installation, but image quality at the edges degrades when pushed to the limit; it is recommended to keep actual use within 70% of the rated value.
For models not on the list, it is safer to send us the chassis nameplate and a photo of the original lens for verification—same-generation platforms often share interfaces, but ordering based on model similarity alone is not worth the risk.
