Zorsika LC Series · Model LC019 (Internal Model D67-300) · 2026-10-27

LC019 is a medium-to-long-throw lens for 0.65/0.66/0.67-inch panels (full-color displays), with a 1.5–3:1 throw ratio and lens shift. It is compatible with four models across two model series. This guide consolidates the lens specifications, installation distances, model compatibility list, and replacement considerations.

Lens shift capability is this lens's key differentiator. Its horizontal shift range of +64 %, -44 % and vertical shift range of +34 %, -27 % allow the projector to be installed off the screen's center axis and the image to be realigned using lens shift without relying on keystone correction. Keystone correction comes at a cost—each adjustment level reduces the number of effective pixels and makes text edges appear blurry. In professional installations, never use keystone correction when lens shift can solve the alignment problem; protecting image quality is the non-negotiable priority.

2. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio

The throw ratio is the ratio of installation distance to image width. This lens has a zoom range of 1.5–3:1, so each image size corresponds to a range of installation distances, and focus can be achieved anywhere within that range during installation.

Image SizeImage WidthRequired Installation Distance
100 inches2.15 mApprox. 3.22 – 6.45 m
120 inches2.58 mApprox. 3.87 – 7.74 m
150 inches3.22 mApprox. 4.84 – 9.67 m
200 inches4.30 mApprox. 6.45 – 12.90 m

The above is the clear distance from the front element of the lens to the screen and does not account for rear housing ventilation and cable-management space. The distances are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual values should be verified through on-site measurements and against the manual.

Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: at the short-throw end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; at the long-throw end, the edges are sharper and brightness decreases slightly. When the installation site allows, position the lens near the middle of the range. After installation, first set the focus ring to the sharpest position, then fine-tune the lens shift—adjusting both variables at the same time makes precise alignment difficult.

3. Compatible Models (4 Models, Full-Color Displays)

The table below is ordered from the newest to the oldest production model and lists each model's resolution, brightness, and zoom ratio for the original standard lens, enabling quick selection based on project requirements.

ModelBrightnessResolutionZoom Ratio
M87000 lumensWUXGA 1920×12001.25X
MU98000 lumensWUXGA 1920×12001.25X
W1010000 lumensWUXGA 1920×12001.25X
W99000 lumensWUXGA 1920×12001.25X

The zoom ratio is the zoom factor of the model's original standard lens (upper limit ÷ lower limit of its original throw-ratio range), not the zoom range of the lens discussed in this article.

Common Features of These Models

The original standard lenses for the four models generally have throw ratios in the 1.22-1.52:1 range. The 1.5–3:1 model featured in this article effectively changes the focal-length range, allowing different image sizes from the same projection distance—this is the direct reason for replacing the lens. It also retains the full lens-shift capability, so the image can still be aligned after the focal range is adjusted.

4. Three Checks Before Replacement

  • Panel size and resolution must match. This model supports 0.67 inches panels. Projection performance varies slightly among projectors with different panel sizes or resolutions. For the most reliable match, verify the specifications against the projector nameplate before installation.
  • Interfaces and locking mechanism. Interfaces are generally interchangeable within the same platform generation, but the position of the locking latch varies between generations. If the image appears skewed or the edges are not sharp after installation, the locking mechanism is usually not fully engaged rather than the lens itself being faulty.
  • Allow for lens-shift margin in the installation. The shift range provides installation flexibility, but edge quality declines when the lens is shifted to its limits. Keep actual use within 70% of the specified values.

For models not listed, it is safer to send us a photo of the projector nameplate and the original lens for verification—projectors on the same platform generation often share the same interfaces, but ordering based only on a similar model name carries unnecessary risk.
