• Interfaces and locking mechanism. Interfaces are generally compatible within the same-generation platform, but the locking-clip positions vary between generations. If the image appears skewed or the edges look soft after installation, the lock usually has not fully engaged; this is not a problem with the lens itself.
• Fixed-focus lenses have no zoom adjustment range. Image size can only be changed by moving the projector, so the site dimensions must be measured accurately first, with an additional 10–20 cm allowed at each endpoint.
