The WD652 is a short-throw lens for the 0.65/0.66/0.67 panel group (Winmate), with a 0.35:1 throw ratio. It is compatible with one projector model in one model series. The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This is a fixed-focus lens (0.35:1), so the installation distance varies linearly with the image size and provides no adjustment range. Accurate measurements are essential before installation.

These distances are the clear distances from the front face of the lens to the screen and do not include space for rear chassis ventilation and wiring. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual distances are subject to on-site measurements and the manual.

Full lens-shift capability is retained, so the image can still be aligned after the focal length is changed.

• The panel and resolution must match. This model is designed for a 0.67-inch panel. Projection performance may vary for projectors with different panel sizes or resolutions, so checking the nameplate on the projector body before installation is recommended.
• Check the interface and locking mechanism. Interfaces are generally compatible within the same platform generation, but the position of the locking latch differs between generations. If the image is skewed or the edges appear soft after installation, the lock is usually not fully engaged rather than the lens itself being defective.
• A fixed-focus lens has no zoom adjustment range. The image size can only be changed by moving the projector. The venue dimensions must be measured accurately in advance, with an additional 10–20 cm allowed at each endpoint.
