Fujifilm Original Lens FP-ZL034 Ultra Short Zoom is an OEM optical accessory for Fujifilm engineering projectors. It is a short-throw lens (Short Throw) with a throw ratio of 0.34-0.41:1. Fujifilm's official compatibility list covers one model. Before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size; no adapter ring is needed. The value of an OEM lens lies not in the extra figures in its specification sheet, but in its factory calibration for the optical path and lens mount of that model series: once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing range are all within the design specifications, with no need to compensate for image quality through keystone correction.

I. Lens Specifications

| Throw Ratio | 0.34-0.41:1 |
| Product Type | Short-throw (Short Throw) |

These specifications are subject to the manufacturer's official specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange focal distance, and lens mount type not shown in the table, please contact us with the projector model. Ordering based solely on a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
II. Throw Ratio and Installation Distance
A throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This OEM lens is a zoom lens (0.34-0.41:1), so a given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances. During installation, the lens can focus at any distance within that range.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 0.73 – 0.88 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 0.88 – 1.06 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 1.10 – 1.32 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 1.46 – 1.76 m |
These are clear distances from the front surface of the lens to the screen and exclude space required for rear cooling and cable connections. Figures are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual distances should be verified through on-site measurements and the manufacturer's manual.
Image performance differs at the two ends of the zoom range: near the close end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; near the far end, the edges are sharper and brightness drops slightly. When site conditions allow, use the middle of the range. After installation, turn the focus ring to the sharpest setting, then fine-tune the lens shift.
III. Compatible Projector Models (1 Model)
The table below is taken from the official compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are listed from the projector model database; unavailable data is shown as "—", with no estimates made.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| Fujifilm ZUH12000 | — | — |
For compatibility with a model not on the list, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens for verification. Platforms of the same generation often share a lens mount, but the risk of ordering based only on a similar model is not worth taking.
Throw Ratio by Projector Model Series
The rated throw ratio differs by model series when the same FP-ZL034 Ultra Short Zoom is installed. When selecting a lens, use the value for the series of the actual projector.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 0.34-0.41:1 |
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Confirm the projector panel and resolution. The OEM lens is designed for a specific panel size. If the panel specifications differ, the image circle cannot cover the full image, causing vignetting or light loss at the edges after installation.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 0.34-0.41:1. Use the table in Section II to calculate the distance for your installation space. A fixed-focus lens has no adjustment margin, and even a zoom lens should allow an extra 10–20 cm at both ends of the range.
- Verify the lens mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated for the lens mount of that model series. After installation, it must be fully engaged, and you should hear it click into place. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking, not a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the existing lens nameplate, then send them to us. Verification against the actual hardware is the most reliable approach.
