Genuine Panasonic ET-DLE150 lens, 1.30-1.89:1 standard throw, fits 30 models: PT-FRZ580C, PT-FRZ680C, PT-FRZ99C and PT-FRZ78C; bulk project orders welcome.

Panasonic Genuine Lens ET-DLE150 is an OEM optical accessory for Panasonic professional projectors. It is a standard-throw lens (Standard Throw) with a throw ratio of 1.30-1.89:1 for a 0.67 1DLP-inch panel. The OEM compatibility list covers 30 models; before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size, with no need to improvise using an adapter ring. The value of an OEM lens lies not in the extra figures it adds to a specification sheet, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and lens mount of that projector series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing travel are all at their design values, so there is no need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

The above specifications are subject to the manufacturer's official specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and lens-mount type not shown in the specification table, please check with us using the projector model. Placing an order solely on the basis of a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
II. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This genuine OEM lens is a zoom lens (1.30-1.89:1), so each image size corresponds to a range of installation distances; focus can be achieved anywhere within that range.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | approx. 2.79 – 4.06 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | approx. 3.35 – 4.88 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | approx. 4.19 – 6.10 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | approx. 5.59 – 8.13 m |
These figures represent the clear distance from the front of the lens to the screen and do not allow for rear housing ventilation and cable-management space. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; in practice, rely on on-site measurements and the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality varies between the two ends of the zoom range: toward the shorter-throw end, the image is brighter and the edges slightly softer; toward the longer-throw end, the edges are sharper and brightness decreases slightly. Where site conditions allow, use the middle of the range. After installation, first find the sharpest position on the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.

To check whether a model not on the list is compatible, send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens—projectors from the same platform generation often share the same mount, but the risk of ordering based on a superficially similar model is not worth taking.
Throw Ratio by Model Series
The rated throw ratio varies when the same ET-DLE150 lens is installed on the series listed below; select the value according to the series of the actual projector.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 1.30-1.89:1 |
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- The panel size must match. ET-DLE150 is designed for a 0.67 1DLP-inch panel. For projectors with a different panel size or resolution, the image circle and edge illumination may be affected even if the lens physically fits.
- Calculate the installation distance first. The rated throw ratio of this lens is 1.30-1.89:1; use the table in Section II to calculate the distance for your venue. A fixed-focus lens provides no adjustment margin, so even with a zoom lens, allow an additional 10–20 cm at both ends.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated to the lens mount of projectors in that series, and you must hear the lock engage after installation. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by the lens not being fully locked, rather than by a fault in the lens itself.
If you are unsure, send us one photo each of the projector nameplate and the nameplate on the existing lens. Verification against the actual hardware is the safest approach.
