Panasonic Original Lens ET-DLE250 is a factory-supplied optical accessory for Panasonic business projectors. It is a long-throw (Long Throw) lens with a throw ratio of 2.27-3.62:1, designed for 0.67-inch 1DLP panels. The OEM compatibility list covers 30 models; before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size—no adapter rings are needed. The value of an OEM lens lies not in a few additional specification figures, but in the fact that its optical path and mount are calibrated at the factory for that projector series: once installed, image-circle coverage, edge illumination, and focus travel all operate at their design values, with no need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

These specifications are subject to the OEM specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specifications table, please verify them with us using the projector model. Ordering solely on the basis of a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
2. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This OEM lens is a zoom lens (2.27-3.62:1), so a given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances, and the lens can focus throughout that range.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 4.88 – 7.78 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 5.86 – 9.34 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 7.32 – 11.67 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 9.76 – 15.57 m |
These distances represent the clear distance from the front of the lens to the screen and do not include space behind the projector for cooling and cable connections. Calculations are based on a 16:10 image; actual values are subject to on-site measurements and the OEM manual.
Image quality varies at the two ends of the zoom range: at the short end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; at the long end, the edges are sharper and brightness is slightly lower. Where site conditions allow, use the middle of the range. After installation, find the sharpest setting on the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.

To determine whether a model not included in the list is compatible, please send us a photo of the projector nameplate and the existing lens. Same-generation platforms often share the same mount, but placing an order based solely on a similar model is not worth the risk.
Throw Ratio by Model Series
The nominal throw ratio varies by series when the same ET-DLE250 is installed on the models listed below, so use the value applicable to the series of your actual projector.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 2.27-3.62:1 |
4. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Confirm the panel size. ET-DLE250 is designed for a 0.67-inch 1DLP panel. If the panel size or resolution differs, image-circle coverage and edge illumination may be compromised even if the lens fits the mount.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 2.27-3.62:1. Use the table in Section 2 to calculate the distance for your installation site. A fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment margin, and even a zoom lens requires an additional 10–20 cm at each end.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated for the mount of the applicable projector series. After installation, you must hear the lock engage fully. A skewed image and soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking rather than a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, send us one photo each of the projector nameplate and the existing lens nameplate. Verification against the actual hardware is the most reliable approach.
