Digital Projection genuine SL-123 standard-throw lens, 0.8-1.16:1 (zoom), for HIGHlite Laser 1080P and HIGHlite Laser WUXGA. Genuine parts for bulk orders.

Digital Projection Original Lens SL-123 is an OEM optical accessory for Digital Projection engineering projectors. It is a standard-throw lens (Standard Throw) with a 0.8-1.16:1 (zoom) throw ratio and is designed for the 0.95inch 3DLP(HIGHlite) inch panel. The OEM compatibility list covers 2 models. Before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size; no adapter rings are needed. The value of an OEM lens lies not in the additional rows of specifications, but in the fact that it is calibrated from the factory to the optical path and lens mount of the projector series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing travel are all designed values, eliminating the need to compensate for image quality with keystone correction.

The above specifications are subject to the OEM specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specifications, please contact us with the projector model. Ordering based solely on a similar model carries the risk of the lens not fitting.
II. Calculating Installation Distance from the Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This OEM lens is a zoom lens (0.8-1.16:1 (zoom)), so a given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances. The lens can be focused anywhere within this range.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 1.72 – 2.49 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 2.06 – 2.99 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 2.58 – 3.74 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 3.44 – 4.99 m |
These figures represent the clear distance from the front lens element to the screen and do not include space for rear cooling and cable connections. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual distances should be verified through on-site measurements and the OEM manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: the short-throw end produces a brighter image with slightly softer edges, while the long-throw end delivers sharper edges with slightly lower brightness. Where the venue allows, the middle of the range is recommended. After installation, find the sharpest setting on the focus ring and then fine-tune the lens shift.
III. Compatible Models (2 Models)
The following table is taken from the OEM compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are populated from the model database; unavailable values are shown as “—,” with no assumptions made.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| HIGHlite Laser 1080P | — | — |
| HIGHlite Laser WUXGA | — | — |
To verify whether a model outside this list is compatible, send us a photo of the projector nameplate and the existing lens. Same-generation platforms often share the same lens mount, but ordering based solely on model similarity is not worth the risk.
Throw Ratios by Projector Series
The rated throw ratio of the same SL-123 varies across the following series. When selecting a lens, use the value for the series of the actual projector.
| Projector Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 0.8-1.16:1 (zoom) |
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- The panel size must match. SL-123 is designed for the 0.95inch 3DLP(HIGHlite) inch panel. Even if the lens mount fits, projectors with a different panel size or resolution may experience image-circle and edge-illumination issues.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 0.8-1.16:1 (zoom). Use the table in Section II to calculate the distance for your venue. Fixed-focus lenses offer no adjustment range, while zoom lenses require an additional 10–20 cm at both ends of the range.
- Verify the lens mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated to the lens mount of the applicable projector series and must audibly lock into place after installation. A skewed image and soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking rather than a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, send us one photo of the projector nameplate and one photo of the existing lens nameplate. Verification against the actual equipment is the most reliable approach.
