Eiki genuine AH-A23010 Zoom long-throw lens, 2.90-5.50:1 throw ratio, compatible with 17 Eiki projector models. Authorized supply for bulk project orders.

Eiki Original Lens AH-A23010 Zoom is a factory-supplied optical accessory for Eiki professional projectors. It is a long-throw (Long Throw) lens with a throw ratio of 2.90-5.50:1. The factory compatibility list covers 17 models; before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size—no need to resort to an adapter ring. The value of an original lens lies not in the extra rows of figures in the specification table, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and lens mount of that projector series: once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focus travel are all at their design values, so there is no need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

1. Lens Specifications

Factory specifications take precedence. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and lens-mount type not shown in the specification table, please verify them with us using the projector model; ordering based solely on a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
2. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the installation distance divided by the image width. This original lens is a zoom lens (2.90-5.50:1). A given image size corresponds to a range of distances, and the lens can focus anywhere within that range.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 6.23 – 11.82 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 7.48 – 14.19 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 9.35 – 17.74 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 12.47 – 23.65 m |
These figures represent the clear distance from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not include clearance for rear projector ventilation and cable connections. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; for actual installation, refer to on-site measurements and the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: toward the close end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; toward the far end, the edges are sharper and brightness drops slightly. When the venue allows, we recommend positioning the lens near the middle of the range. After installation, first find the sharpest setting on the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.

The table below is taken from the factory compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are populated from the model database; where the data is unavailable, “—” is shown without making assumptions.

For models not included in the list, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens for verification. Platforms of the same generation often share the same lens mount, but ordering based on a similar model is not worth the risk.
Throw Ratio by Model Series
The nominal throw ratio varies when the same AH-A23010 Zoom is used with the series listed below; select the value according to the series of the actual projector.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 2.90-5.50:1 |
4. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Confirm the projector chip and resolution. Original lenses are designed for specific panel sizes. If the panel specifications differ, the image circle cannot cover the full image, resulting in vignetting or light loss at the edges.
- Calculate the installation distance first. With a nominal throw ratio of 2.90-5.50:1, use the table in Section 2 to calculate the distance for your venue. A fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment margin, and even a zoom lens should have 10–20 cm left at both ends of the range.
- Verify the lens mount and lock. Original lenses are calibrated to the lens mount of that projector series, and you must hear the lock engage after installation. A skewed image or soft edges are usually due to incomplete locking, not a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the existing lens nameplate and send them to us. Checking against the physical items is the safest approach.
