Fujifilm FP-ZL125 Standard Zoom Lens Analysis: ZUH12000 Compatibility

Oct 31, 2026, 20:39:07 UTC

Fujifilm OEM Lens FP-ZL125 Standard Zoom is an OEM optical accessory for Fujifilm engineering projectors. It is designed for standard throw (Standard Throw) and has a throw ratio of 1.25-2.00:1. The official model compatibility list covers one projector model. Before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size; there is no need to make do with an adapter ring. The value of an OEM lens lies not in the extra specification figures, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and lens mount of that model series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focus travel all meet their design values, eliminating the need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

The above specifications are subject to the manufacturer's official specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specifications table, please contact us for verification based on the projector model. Ordering based solely on a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.

II. Installation Distance from Throw Ratio

The throw ratio is the ratio of installation distance to image width. This OEM lens is a zoom lens (1.25-2.00:1), so a given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances, and the lens can be focused at any distance within that range.

Image SizeImage WidthRequired Installation Distance
100 inches2.15 mApprox. 2.69 – 4.30 m
120 inches2.58 mApprox. 3.22 – 5.16 m
150 inches3.22 mApprox. 4.03 – 6.45 m
200 inches4.30 mApprox. 5.38 – 8.60 m

The distances above are clear distances from the front surface of the lens to the screen, excluding the space required for rear projector ventilation and cable connections. The calculations are based on a 16:10 aspect ratio; actual values are subject to on-site measurements and the manufacturer's manual.

Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: toward the near end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; toward the far end, the edges are sharper and brightness decreases slightly. If site conditions allow, use the middle of the range. After installation, first find the sharpest setting on the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.

III. Compatible Projector Models (1 model)

The table below is taken from the official model compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are supplied from the model database; entries that cannot be obtained are marked as “—”, and no assumptions are made.

For models not on the list, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and the current lens so we can verify compatibility—projectors based on the same-generation platform often share a lens mount, but ordering based solely on a similar model is not worth the risk.

Throw Ratios by Model Series

The rated throw ratio varies by model series when the same FP-ZL125 Standard Zoom is installed. Select the value based on the series of the actual projector.

IV. Three Checks Before Replacement

  • Confirm the projector imaging chip and resolution.OEM lenses are designed for a specific panel size. With different panel specifications, the image circle cannot cover the full image, causing vignetting or uneven illumination at the edges after installation.
  • Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 1.25-2.00:1. Use the table in Section II to calculate the distance for your venue. A prime lens has no adjustment margin, while a zoom lens should also leave 10–20 cm of margin at both ends.
  • Check the mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated to the lens mount of that model series. After installation, you must hear a click confirming that it is fully locked. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking, not by a problem with the lens itself.

If you are unsure, photograph both the projector nameplate and the current lens nameplate and send the images to us. Verifying the actual hardware is the safest approach.
