Panasonic ET-C1W500 genuine standard-throw lens (0.940-1.39:1), compatible with 16 models including PT-REQ15C and PT-REQ12C. Bulk project orders available.

Panasonic Original Lens ET-C1W500 is an original optical accessory for Panasonic business projectors. It is a standard-throw lens (Standard Throw) with a throw ratio of 0.940-1.39:1 for a 0.8" 1DLP panel. The official compatibility list covers 16 models. Before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size—there is no need to make do with an adapter ring. The value of an original lens lies not in the extra rows of specifications, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and mount of that model series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing travel all meet the design values, so there is no need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

I. Lens Specifications

The above specifications are subject to the official specifications. Mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type are not listed in the specification table, so please verify them with us based on the exact projector model. Ordering solely on the basis of a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
II. Converting Throw Ratio to Installation Distance
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This original lens is a zoom lens (0.940-1.39:1), so a given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances. Any position within this range can be brought into focus during installation.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 2.02 – 2.99 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 2.43 – 3.59 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 3.03 – 4.48 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 4.04 – 5.98 m |
These figures represent the clear distance from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not account for ventilation and cable connection space behind the chassis. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual distances should be confirmed through on-site measurement and the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer near the close end, while the edges are sharper and the brightness slightly lower near the far end. When the venue allows, use the middle of the range. After installation, first use the focus ring to find the sharpest image, and then fine-tune the lens shift.
III. Compatible Models (16 Models)
The table below is taken from the official compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are populated from the model database; entries that cannot be verified are shown as "—", with no assumptions made.

| PT-REQ80C | 8000 lumens | 4K, 3840 x 2400 |
| PT-REZ15C | 15000 lumens | WUXGA, 1920 x 1200 |
| PT-REZ12C | 12000 lumens | WUXGA, 1920 x 1200 |
| PT-REZ10C | 10000 lumens | WUXGA, 1920 x 1200 |
| PT-REZ80C | 8000 lumens | WUXGA, 1920 x 1200 |

To check whether a model not on the list is compatible, send us photos of the projector nameplate and the current lens. Platforms of the same generation often share a mount, but ordering solely on the basis of a similar model is not worth the installation risk.
Throw Ratio by Model Series
The rated throw ratio varies by model series when the same ET-C1W500 is installed. Select the value based on the series of the projector in use.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 0.940-1.39:1 |
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Confirm the panel size. ET-C1W500 is designed for a 0.8" 1DLP panel. Even if the mount fits, projectors with a different panel size or resolution may experience problems with the image circle and edge illumination.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 0.940-1.39:1. Use the table in Section II to calculate the distance for your venue. Fixed-focus lenses offer no margin, and zoom lenses should also allow an additional 10–20 cm at each end.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. The original lens is calibrated to the mount used on that model series. After installation, you must hear a click confirming that it is fully locked. A skewed image or soft edges are most often caused by incomplete locking, not by the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the current lens nameplate, then send them to us. Verification against the actual hardware is the safest approach.
