Genuine Digital Projection SL-127 standard-throw lens, 1.39-1.87:1 zoom throw ratio, fits HIGHlite Laser 1080P and HIGHlite Laser WUXGA. Bulk orders available.

Digital Projection Genuine Lens SL-127 is an OEM optical accessory for Digital Projection engineering projectors. It features a standard throw (Standard Throw), with a throw ratio of 1.39-1.87:1 (Zoom), and is designed for a 0.95inch 3DLP(HIGHlite) panel. The OEM compatibility list covers two models; before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size—no adapter ring workaround is needed. The value of an OEM lens lies not in the additional figures in the specification sheet, but in factory calibration to the optical path and mount of that projector series: once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing travel all meet their design values, eliminating the need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.
I. Lens Specifications

| Lens Model | SL-127 |
| OEM Part Number | 115-127 |
| Throw Ratio | 1.39-1.87:1 (Zoom) |
| Product Type | Standard Throw |

The above specifications are subject to the manufacturer's official specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specification table, please contact us with the projector model. Ordering solely because the model numbers are similar carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
II. Calculating Installation Distance from the Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This genuine lens is a zoom lens (1.39-1.87:1 (Zoom)); the same image size corresponds to a range of distances, and the lens can focus anywhere within that range during installation.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | approx. 2.99 – 4.02 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | approx. 3.59 – 4.82 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | approx. 4.48 – 6.03 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | approx. 5.98 – 8.04 m |
These are net distances from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not include clearance for heat dissipation and cable connections at the rear of the projector. The figures are calculated for a 16:10 image aspect ratio; in practice, rely on on-site measurements and the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: toward the shorter-throw end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly less sharp; toward the longer-throw end, the edges are sharper and brightness is slightly lower. Where venue conditions allow, use the middle of the range. After installation, first find the sharpest setting on the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.
III. Compatible Models (2 Models)
The table below is taken from the manufacturer's compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are populated from the model database; where unavailable, they are shown as “—” and are not estimated.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| HIGHlite Laser 1080P | — | — |
| HIGHlite Laser WUXGA | — | — |
To determine whether a model not listed in the compatibility list can be used, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens for verification. Platforms from the same generation often share the same mount, but ordering solely because the model numbers are similar carries unnecessary risk.
Throw Ratios by Model Series
The nominal throw ratio varies by series when the same SL-127 is installed. Select the value based on the series of the actual projector.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 1.39-1.87:1 (Zoom) |
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- The panel size must match. SL-127 is designed for a 0.95inch 3DLP(HIGHlite) panel. Machines with a different panel size or resolution may experience image-circle and edge-illumination problems even if the lens physically fits.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a nominal throw ratio of 1.39-1.87:1 (Zoom). Use the table in Section 2 to calculate the distance for your venue. A fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment margin, while a zoom lens should still allow 10–20 cm of margin at both ends.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated to the mount of the applicable projector series. You must hear the lock engage after installation. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking, rather than a fault in the lens itself.
If you are unsure, send us one photo each of the projector nameplate and the existing lens nameplate. Verification against the actual hardware is the safest approach.
