Original SL-129 long-throw lens for Digital Projection, 2.56-4.16:1 throw ratio. Compatible with HIGHlite Laser 1080P and HIGHlite Laser WUXGA; bulk supply.

Digital Projection Genuine Lens SL-129 is an original optical accessory for Digital Projection engineering projectors. It is a long-throw (Long Throw) lens with a throw ratio of 2.56-4.16:1 (long-throw zoom), designed for the 0.95inch 3DLP(HIGHlite) panel. The factory compatibility list covers 2 models. Before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size; no adapter ring workaround is needed. The value of a genuine lens lies not in a few additional rows of specifications, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and mount of that projector series: once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing travel all meet the design specifications, so there is no need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.
1. Lens Specifications

The above specifications are subject to the OEM specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specifications table, please verify them with us according to the projector model. Ordering based solely on a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
2. Calculating Installation Distance from the Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This genuine zoom lens has a throw ratio of 2.56-4.16:1 (long-throw zoom). A given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances, and the lens can focus anywhere within that range when installed.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inch | 2.15 m | approx. 5.50 – 8.94 m |
| 120 inch | 2.58 m | approx. 6.60 – 10.73 m |
| 150 inch | 3.22 m | approx. 8.26 – 13.42 m |
| 200 inch | 4.30 m | approx. 11.01 – 17.89 m |
These are clear distances from the front face of the lens to the screen and do not include space behind the projector for cooling and cable connections. The values are calculated for a 16:10 aspect ratio; actual values are subject to on-site measurement and the OEM manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: toward the near end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; toward the far end, the edges are sharper and the brightness is slightly lower. Where the venue allows, use the middle of the range. After installation, find the sharpest position using the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.
3. Compatible Models (2 Models)
The following table is taken from the OEM compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are filled in from the model database; unavailable values are shown as “—” without making assumptions.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| HIGHlite Laser 1080P | — | — |
| HIGHlite Laser WUXGA | — | — |
To determine whether a model not on the list can be used, send us a photo of the projector nameplate and the current lens. Platforms of the same generation often share the same mount, but ordering based on a similar model is not worth the risk.
Throw Ratios by Model Series
The nominal throw ratio varies by series when the same SL-129 is installed. Select the value that applies to the actual projector series.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 2.56-4.16:1 (long-throw zoom) |
4. Three Checks Before Replacement
- The panel size must match. SL-129 is designed for the 0.95inch 3DLP(HIGHlite) panel. For projectors with a different panel size or resolution, even if the lens fits the mount, the image circle and edge illumination may be compromised.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a nominal throw ratio of 2.56-4.16:1 (long-throw zoom). Use the table in Section 2 to calculate the distance for your venue. A fixed-focus lens provides no adjustment margin, and even a zoom lens requires an additional 10–20 cm at both ends of the range.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. The genuine lens is calibrated to the mount of that projector series. You must hear it lock fully into place after installation. A skewed image and soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking rather than a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the current lens nameplate, then send them to us. Verification against the actual items is the most reliable approach.
