Genuine Panasonic ET-EMS600 long-throw lens with a 1.35-2.10:1 throw ratio, compatible with 19 Panasonic projectors. Available for bulk project orders.

Panasonic Genuine Lens ET-EMS600 is an OEM optical accessory for Panasonic projectors for professional use. It is a long-throw lens (Long Throw), with a throw ratio of 1.35-2.10:1, designed for 1.0" 3LCD panels. The official compatibility list covers 19 models. Before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size; there is no need to improvise with an adapter ring. The value of a genuine lens lies not in the extra figures in its specification table, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and lens mount of the corresponding projector series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focus travel are all at their design values, so there is no need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

I. Lens Specifications

The above specifications are subject to the original manufacturer's specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and lens-mount type not shown in the specifications table, please verify them with us using the projector model. Ordering based solely on a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
II. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This genuine lens is a zoom lens (1.35-2.10:1), so each image size corresponds to a range of installation distances, and the lens can focus anywhere within that range when installed.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | approx. 2.90 – 4.51 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | approx. 3.48 – 5.42 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | approx. 4.35 – 6.77 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | approx. 5.80 – 9.03 m |
The distances above are the clear distances from the front of the lens to the screen and do not include space behind the projector for ventilation and cable connections. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual distances should be verified through on-site measurements and in accordance with the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: toward the short-throw end, the image is brighter and the edges slightly softer; toward the long-throw end, the edges are sharper and the image slightly dimmer. Where site conditions allow, use the middle of the range. After installation, first find the sharpest setting on the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.

For compatibility with a model not on the list, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens for verification. Platforms of the same generation often share a lens mount, but ordering based on a similar model carries unnecessary risk.
Throw Ratios by Model Series
The same ET-EMS600 has different rated throw ratios across the series listed below, so select the value that applies to the series of your actual projector.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 1.35-2.10:1 |
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Make sure the panel size matches. ET-EMS600 is designed for 1.0" 3LCD panels. For a projector with a different panel size or resolution, the image circle and edge illumination may be compromised even if the lens mount physically fits.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 1.35-2.10:1. Use the table in Section II to calculate the distance for your installation site. A fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment margin, and even a zoom lens needs 10–20 cm of adjustment margin at both ends of the range.
- Verify the lens mount and locking mechanism. The genuine lens is calibrated to the mount of the corresponding projector series. After installation, you must hear it click into the locked position. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking rather than a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the nameplate on the current lens, then send them to us. Verification against the actual hardware is the safest approach.
