Original Panasonic ET-EMT700 long-throw lens, 2.10-4.14:1 throw ratio, fits 19 Panasonic projectors. Available through authorized channels for bulk orders.

Panasonic Genuine Lens ET-EMT700 is a genuine optical accessory for Panasonic professional projectors. It is a Long Throw lens with a 2.10-4.14:1 throw ratio, designed for 1.0" 3LCD panels. The official compatibility list covers 19 models, so before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size; there is no need to make do with an adapter ring. The value of a genuine lens lies not in the extra figures in the specifications, but in the fact that it is factory-calibrated to the optical path and lens mount of the series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focus travel all meet their design specifications, so there is no need to compensate for image quality with keystone correction.

Placing an order solely because a model appears similar carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
II. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This genuine lens has a zoom range of 2.10-4.14:1, so a given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances. Any position within that range can be brought into focus.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 4.51 – 8.90 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 5.42 – 10.68 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 6.77 – 13.35 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 9.03 – 17.80 m |
The distances above are clear distances from the front of the lens to the screen and do not include space for rear cooling or cable connections. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; in practice, refer to on-site measurements and the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: near the short end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; near the long end, the edges are more defined and brightness is slightly lower. If the venue allows, target the middle of the range. After installation, find the sharpest position on the focus ring first, then fine-tune the lens shift.

For compatibility with a model not listed here, send us photos of the projector nameplate and the current lens so we can verify it. Projectors based on the same-generation platform often share the same mount, but the risk of ordering based on a similar model is not worth taking.
Throw Ratios by Model Series
The nominal throw ratio of the same ET-EMT700 differs across the following series, so select the value based on the series of the projector in use.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 2.10-4.14:1 |
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Make sure the panel size matches. ET-EMT700 is designed for 1.0" 3LCD panels. Even if the lens mount fits, a projector with a different panel size or resolution can cause problems with image circle coverage and edge illumination.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a nominal throw ratio of 2.10-4.14:1. Use the table in Section II to match the dimensions of your venue. A fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment margin; even with a zoom lens, allow 10–20 cm at both ends of the range.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. Genuine lenses are calibrated to the lens mount of the relevant projector series. After installation, you must hear the lens lock into place. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking, not by the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the current lens nameplate, then send them to us. Checking the actual hardware is the safest approach.
