Eiki AH-CD20301 Zoom Long-Throw Lens for EIP-UHS100/EIP-XHS100

Genuine Eiki Lens AH-CD20301 Zoom is an OEM optical accessory for Eiki engineering projectors. It is a long-throw (Long Throw) lens with a throw ratio of 3.58-5.38:1. The official compatibility list covers 2 projector models; before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size—there is no need to resort to an adapter ring. The value of an OEM lens lies not in a few extra rows in the specification table, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and lens mount of that projector series: once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focus travel all meet the design values, eliminating the need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

The above specifications are subject to the manufacturer's official specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and lens mount type not shown in the specification table, please verify them with us using the projector model. Placing an order solely because the model numbers are similar carries the risk that the lens will not fit.

2. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio

The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This OEM lens is a zoom lens (3.58-5.38:1), so a given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances, and it can focus at any position within that range.

Image SizeImage WidthRequired Installation Distance
100 inches2.15 mApprox. 7.70 – 11.57 m
120 inches2.58 mApprox. 9.24 – 13.88 m
150 inches3.22 mApprox. 11.55 – 17.35 m
200 inches4.30 mApprox. 15.39 – 23.13 m

The distances above are clear distances from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not account for ventilation or cable connections behind the projector. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual distances should be verified by on-site measurement and according to the manufacturer's manual.

Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: at the close end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; at the long end, the edges are sharper and brightness is slightly lower. Where site conditions allow, use the middle of the range. After installation, find the sharpest image using the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.

3. Compatible Projector Models (2 units)

The following table is taken from the official compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are populated from the model database; where the data is unavailable, an em dash (—) is shown, with no assumptions made.

To determine whether a model not on the list is compatible, send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens for verification. Same-generation platforms often share the same lens mount, but ordering based on a similar model name is not worth the risk.

Throw Ratios by Projector Model Series

Although the same AH-CD20301 Zoom lens is used with the series listed below, the nominal throw ratios differ. Select the value based on the series of the actual projector.

—3.58-5.38:1

4. Three Checks Before Replacement

  • Confirm the projector chip and resolution. OEM lenses are designed for a specific panel size. If the panel specifications differ, the lens cannot cover the full image circle, causing vignetting or edge light loss when installed.
  • Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a nominal throw ratio of 3.58-5.38:1; use the table in Section 2 to match the dimensions of your installation site. A fixed-focus lens provides no adjustment margin, and even a zoom lens should be allowed 10–20 cm of extra margin at both ends of the range.
  • Verify the lens mount and locking mechanism. OEM lenses are calibrated to the mount of the relevant projector series. After installation, you must hear the lens click into the fully locked position. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking rather than a fault in the lens itself.

If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the existing lens nameplate, then send them to us. Verification against the physical products is the safest approach.
