Original Panasonic ET-EMT800 long-throw lens, 4.14-7.40:1, compatible with PT-MZ20KL, PT-MZ17KL, PT-MZ14KL, PT-MZ11KL and 15 more. Bulk orders welcome.

Panasonic Genuine Lens ET-EMT800 is an OEM optical accessory for Panasonic business projectors. It is a long-throw lens (Long Throw) with a throw ratio of 4.14-7.40:1, designed for 1.0" 3LCD panels. The manufacturer's compatibility list covers 19 models. Before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size—there is no need to resort to an adapter ring. The value of an OEM lens lies not in the extra figures on the specification sheet, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to the optical path and lens mount of that model series: once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing range all meet their design values, so there is no need to compensate for image quality with keystone correction.

I. Lens Specifications
| Brand | Panasonic(Panasonic) |
| Lens Model | ET-EMT800 |
| Throw Ratio | 4.14-7.40:1 |
| Product Type | Long-throw (Long Throw) |
| Compatible Panel | 1.0" 3LCD panel |
| Compatible Models | 19 models |
| Warranty | 12 months; non-user-caused damage is eligible for after-sales service, based on the date on the shipping documentation |
The above specifications are based on the manufacturer's official specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and lens-mount type not shown in the specification table, please verify them with us based on your projector model. Ordering solely because the model numbers are similar risks purchasing a lens that may not fit.
II. Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
A throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This OEM lens is a zoom lens (4.14-7.40:1), so each image size corresponds to a range of distances. As long as it is installed within that range, it can focus properly.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 8.90 – 15.91 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 10.68 – 19.09 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 13.35 – 23.86 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 17.80 – 31.82 m |
The above distances are the clear distances from the front face of the lens to the screen and do not include space behind the projector for ventilation and cable connections. These figures are calculated for a 16:10 image; in practice, rely on on-site measurements and the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality varies at the two ends of the zoom range: toward the near end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; toward the far end, the edges are sharper and brightness drops slightly. If space permits, use the middle of the range. After installation, first find the sharpest setting on the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.
III. Compatible Models (19 Models)
The table below is taken from the manufacturer's compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are populated from the model database; where unavailable, they are marked as “—” rather than estimated.

| PT-MZ16KL | 16000 lumens | WUXGA,1920 x 1200 |
| PT-MZ13KL | 13000 lumens | WUXGA,1920 x 1200 |

To check whether a model not on the list is compatible, send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens for verification. Projectors based on platforms of the same generation often share the same lens mount, but it is not worth taking the risk of ordering solely because the model numbers are similar.
Throw Ratio by Model Series
The rated throw ratio varies by series when the same ET-EMT800 lens is used with the models listed below, so select the value based on the series of the projector you actually own.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 4.14-7.40:1 |
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Make sure the panel size matches. ET-EMT800 is designed for a 1.0" 3LCD panel. Even if a projector with a different panel size or resolution can be physically fitted, its image circle and edge illumination will be compromised.
- Calculate the installation distance first. With a rated throw ratio of 4.14-7.40:1, use the table in Section II to calculate the distance for your venue. A fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment range, and even with a zoom lens, allow 10–20 cm at both ends of the range.
- Verify the lens mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated to the lens mount of that projector series. After installation, you must hear the locking mechanism engage. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by an incompletely engaged lock, not by a fault in the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the existing lens nameplate and send them to us. Verification against the actual hardware is the safest approach.
