Panasonic ET-ELW22 original lens, throw ratio 0.786-0.983:1, for 14 models including PT-MZ882C, PT-MZ880C, PT-MZ780CL and PT-MZ680CL. Bulk supply.

Panasonic Genuine Lens ET-ELW22 is a factory-supplied optical accessory for Panasonic professional projectors. It is a standard-throw lens (Standard Throw) with a throw ratio of 0.786-0.983:1 for 0.76" 3LCD panels. The official compatibility list covers 14 models. Before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size—there is no need to make do with an adapter ring. The value of a genuine lens lies not in the extra rows of specifications, but in the fact that its optical path and mount are calibrated at the factory for that model series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing range all meet their design values, eliminating the need to compensate for image quality with keystone correction.

1. Lens Specifications
| Brand | Panasonic(Panasonic) |
| Lens Model | ET-ELW22 |
| Throw Ratio | 0.786-0.983:1 |
| Product Type | Standard throw (Standard Throw) |
| Compatible Panel | 0.76" 3LCD panels |

The above specifications are subject to the official specifications. Mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specification table should be verified with us according to the projector model. Ordering based solely on a similar model number carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
2. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This genuine lens is zoomable (0.786-0.983:1), so each image size corresponds to a range of installation distances; any position within that range can be brought into focus.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 1.69 – 2.11 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 2.03 – 2.54 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 2.53 – 3.17 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 3.38 – 4.23 m |
The distances above are clear distances from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not account for the cooling and cabling space at the rear of the projector. Calculated for a 16:10 image; actual values are subject to on-site measurements and the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality varies at the two ends of the zoom range: near the close end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; near the far end, the edges are sharper and brightness decreases slightly. When site conditions permit, placing the lens in the middle of the range is recommended. After installation, first find the sharpest setting on the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.
3. Compatible Models (14 Models)
The following table is taken from the official compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are populated from the model database; where the data is unavailable, “—” is shown rather than making assumptions.

For compatibility with a model not included in the list, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens for verification. Projectors from the same generation often share the same mount, but ordering based on a similar model number alone carries an unnecessary risk.
Throw Ratio by Model Series
The nominal throw ratio differs among the series below when using the same ET-ELW22 lens, so select the value for the series of the actual projector.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 0.786-0.983:1 |
4. Three Checks Before Replacement
- The panel size must match. ET-ELW22 is designed for 0.76" 3LCD panels. Even if the lens fits the mount, a projector with a different panel size or resolution may have problems with image circle coverage and edge illumination.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 0.786-0.983:1. Use the table in Section 2 to calculate the distance for your venue. A fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment margin, and a zoom lens should also allow an additional 10–20 cm at both ends.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. Genuine lenses are calibrated to the mount of the corresponding model series and must audibly click into the locked position after installation. A skewed image or soft edges are usually due to an incompletely locked lens, not a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, send us one photo each of the projector nameplate and the existing lens nameplate. Verification against the actual hardware is the safest approach.
