Eiki Original Lens AH-E23020 Zoom is an OEM optical accessory for Eiki engineering projectors. It is a long-throw lens (Long Throw) with a throw ratio of 4.31-7.35:1. The OEM compatibility list covers 12 models; before installation, simply verify the projector model and panel size, with no need to improvise using an adapter ring. The value of an OEM lens lies not in the additional rows of specifications, but in its factory calibration to the optical path and lens mount of that projector series: once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focusing travel all operate at their design values, so there is no need to compensate for image quality with keystone correction.

I. Lens Specifications

| Lens Model | AH-E23020 Zoom |
| Throw Ratio | 4.31-7.35:1 |
| Product Type | Long-throw (Long Throw) |
| Compatible Models | 12 models |

The above specifications are based on the OEM specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specifications table, please contact us with the exact projector model. Ordering based solely on a similar model carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
II. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This OEM lens is a zoom lens (4.31-7.35:1), so a given image size corresponds to a range of installation distances, and the lens can focus anywhere within that range.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | approx. 9.27 – 15.80 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | approx. 11.12 – 18.96 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | approx. 13.90 – 23.70 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | approx. 18.53 – 31.60 m |
The distances above are the clear distances from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not account for ventilation or cable connection space behind the chassis. They are calculated for a 16:10 aspect ratio; actual distances should be verified on site and according to the OEM manual.
Image quality varies at the two ends of the zoom range: at the shorter-throw end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; at the longer-throw end, the edges are sharper and brightness is slightly lower. When site conditions allow, the middle of the range is recommended. After installation, find the sharpest setting on the focus ring first, then fine-tune the lens shift.
III. Compatible Models (12 Models)
The following table is taken from the OEM compatibility list. Brightness and resolution are populated from the model database; entries with unavailable data are marked “—”, and no estimates are made.

For models not included in the list, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and current lens so we can verify compatibility. Platforms from the same generation often share mounts, but the risk of ordering based on a similar model is not worth taking.
Throw Ratios Across Model Series
The nominal throw ratio differs by series when the same AH-E23020 Zoom lens is used with the following projector series. When selecting a lens, use the value for the series of the actual projector.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 4.31-7.35:1 |
IV. Three Things to Confirm Before Replacement
- Confirm the projector imaging panel and resolution. OEM lenses are designed for a specific panel size. If the panel specifications differ, the image circle cannot cover the image, resulting in vignetting or edge light loss after installation.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a nominal throw ratio of 4.31-7.35:1. Use the table in Section 2 to match the dimensions of your site; a fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment margin, and even a zoom lens should leave 10–20 cm at both ends.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. The OEM lens is calibrated to the lens mount of that projector series and must audibly lock into place after installation. A skewed image and soft edges are usually caused by an incompletely engaged lock, rather than a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, take one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the current lens nameplate, then send them to us. Verification against the actual hardware is the most reliable option.
