On September 22, 2026, Epson announced an expansion of its Home Cinema projector lineup, introducing three new 4K HDR laser 3LCD projectors at once: the Home Cinema LS5000, LS6000 and LS7500. All three are built on Epson's unique 3-Chip 3LCD projection engine and a laser array light source, positioned below the flagship Home Cinema LS11000, with MSRPs spanning $1,999.99 to $2,699.99 — giving big-screen home users a fuller set of choices to match different spaces and budgets.
Three New Models: Bringing Big-Screen Laser Into Everyday Living Rooms
Fernando Tamashiro, product manager at Epson America, noted that as TVs keep growing, the “large black rectangle” they leave behind when switched off becomes an increasing burden on interior design. Projection offers a more discreet alternative that virtually disappears when the entertainment ends, while creating immersive experiences a traditional TV cannot match — from everyday 16:9 content to cinematic 21:9.
Together with the existing flagship LS11000, the three new models form a complete Home Cinema 4K HDR lineup. In terms of brightness, the trio delivers 2,500 to 3,500 lumens of equal Color Brightness (IDMS Rated) and White Brightness (ISO Rated), with dynamic contrast ratios reaching up to 1,000,000:1.

3-Chip 3LCD + Laser Array: The Foundation of 4K HDR Picture Quality
All three projectors are powered by an advanced Epson Picture Processor and proprietary 4K Display Technology that produces a full 8.29-million-pixel on-screen image. Combined with the 3-Chip 3LCD engine and a laser array light source, they deliver exceptional color accuracy and deep black levels, keeping the picture vivid even in living rooms with some ambient light.
For HDR, the entire line supports 10-bit color processing with HDR10 and HLG compatibility, plus the option for Epson Automatic HDR Scene Correction, which optimizes the picture automatically based on the content being played. In Normal mode, the laser light source lasts up to 20,000 hours, with virtually no consumable replacements required for a lower long-term cost of ownership.
LS7500: The Line's Only Short-Throw Model
The LS5000 and LS6000 use a high-quality Epson Cinema lens with a throw ratio of 1.32–2.15, while the LS7500 is the only short-throw model in the series, equipped with a short-throw lens at a 1.0–1.3 throw ratio. It can be positioned a few feet closer to the wall than conventional projectors, making it ideal for rooms with limited projection depth that still want a large image.
All three models support multiple aspect ratios from 16:9 HDTV to cinematic 21:9, with screen sizes up to 300 inches — an enormous picture that TVs simply cannot deliver.

Built for Gaming and Sports
The three models come with dual HDMI ports that support 4K HDR content at refresh rates up to 120Hz, with one HDMI port featuring eARC for high-quality audio passthrough. For gamers, the entire line supports Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) with input lag below 20ms. Combined with the high refresh rate, this noticeably reduces screen tearing and input delay, delivering more responsive gameplay on both next-generation consoles and gaming PCs.
Additionally, integrated Bluetooth 6.0 supports two-channel wireless audio streaming directly from HDMI input sources, making it easy to connect personal headphones for quiet late-night viewing.
Flexible Installation and Quiet Design
The new models feature a compact body with a front-exiting airflow design for whisper-quiet operation. Together with a wide-range manual lens shift of ±59% vertical and ±21% horizontal, placement becomes far more flexible, allowing easy integration into a wide range of home environments.
The projectors support front, front-ceiling, rear and rear-ceiling projection methods. Beyond the dual HDMI 2.1 (HDCP 2.3) ports, connectivity includes one USB Type-A (5V/2.0A power supply), one USB Type-A (firmware updates), one Mini USB (service only), a 3.5mm audio output and an RJ45 LAN port for projector control.
