CA02- is a medium-to-long-throw lens for engineering projectors (Hisense and Winlong), with a 2.38–3.08:1 throw ratio. It is compatible with 6 models across 1 model series. This guide presents the lens specifications, installation distance, model compatibility list, and key replacement considerations in one place.
I. Lens Specifications

II. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This is a zoom lens (2.38–3.08:1), so each image size corresponds to a range of installation distances. The lens can focus at any position within that range.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 5.12 – 6.62 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 6.14 – 7.95 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 7.68 – 9.93 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 10.23 – 13.24 m |
These distances represent the clear distance from the front face of the lens to the screen and do not allow for ventilation or wiring space at the rear of the chassis. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual values should be verified on site and against the manual.
Image quality varies at the two ends of the zoom range: at the shorter-throw end, the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer; at the longer-throw end, the edges are sharper and brightness decreases slightly. When site conditions allow, the middle of the range is recommended. After installation, first find the sharpest position using the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift—adjusting both variables at the same time makes accurate alignment difficult.
III. Compatible Projector Models (6 Models, Hisense and Winlong)
The table below is arranged by model production date, from newest to oldest, and lists each model’s resolution, brightness, and factory lens zoom ratio for quick selection according to project requirements.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution | Zoom Ratio |
|---|---|---|---|
| C-4K650 | 6500 lumens | 4K 3840×2160 | — |
| P60 | 6000 lumens | 4K 3840×2160 | — |
| HLP650 | 6500 lumens | 4K 3840×2160 | — |
| P60W | 6300 lumens | 4K 3840×2160 | — |
| P65 | 6500 lumens | 4K 3840×2160 | — |
| P70 | 7000 lumens | 4K 3840×2160 | — |
Common Features of These Models
The throw ratios of the factory standard lenses for these 6 models are mostly indicated as Depends on the lens. The 2.38–3.08:1 model featured here provides an adjusted focal range, enabling different image sizes from the same projection distance—this is the direct reason for replacing the lens. It also retains full lens-shift capability, allowing the image to remain properly aligned after the focal range is adjusted.
IV. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Verify the panel size. The panel parameters for this model have not yet been recorded. Please send us a photo of the nameplate on the chassis so we can confirm them.
- Check the interfaces and locking mechanism. Interfaces are generally compatible across platforms of the same generation, but the positions of the locking clips vary between generations. If the image appears skewed or the edges remain soft after installation, the issue is usually an incompletely engaged lock rather than a problem with the lens itself.
- Allow extra margin for zoom. When measuring the distance, allow an additional 10–20 cm beyond the range endpoints, as transportation and installation errors may place the lens outside the usable range.
For models not included in the list, the safest approach is to send us the chassis nameplate and a photo of the original lens for verification—platforms of the same generation often share the same interfaces, but ordering based only on a similar model designation is not worth the risk.
