Panasonic ET-DLE060 Standard Throw Projector Lens: Compatible with PT-FRZ580C, PT-FRZ680C

Oct 30, 2026, 03:56:17 UTC

Panasonic Original Lens ET-DLE060 is a genuine optical accessory for Panasonic professional projectors. It belongs to the standard throw category, with a throw ratio of 0.600-0.801:1, designed for 0.67-inch 1DLP panels. The original compatibility list covers 25 projector models; simply verify your projector model and panel size before installation—no adapter rings needed. The value of an original lens isn't in a few extra rows of specs, but in the fact that it is calibrated at the factory to match the optical path and mount of that projector series: once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focus travel all match design values, so you don't need keystone correction to compensate for image quality.

The specifications above are based on original factory data. For mechanical dimensions, flange focal distance, and mount type not shown in the spec table, please verify with us against your projector model—ordering based on model similarity alone carries the risk of incompatibility.

2. Throw Ratio and Installation Distance

Throw ratio is the ratio of installation distance to screen width. This original lens is a zoom lens (0.600-0.801:1), so a given screen size corresponds to a range of distances; as long as installation falls within this range, focus can be achieved.

Screen SizeScreen WidthRequired Installation Distance
100 inches2.15 mApprox. 1.29 – 1.72 m
120 inches2.58 mApprox. 1.55 – 2.07 m
150 inches3.22 mApprox. 1.93 – 2.58 m
200 inches4.30 mApprox. 2.58 – 3.44 m

The above figures are the clear distance from the lens face to the screen, excluding rear ventilation and cabling space behind the projector. Calculated for 16:10 aspect ratio; actual values should be based on on-site measurement and the original manual.

Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: toward the near end the image is brighter with slightly softer edges; toward the far end the edges are sharper with slightly reduced brightness. Where space permits, it is recommended to land in the middle of the range; after installation, first find the sharpest position on the focus ring, then fine-tune the shift.

For models not on the list, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and the existing lens for verification—same-generation platforms often share mounts, but ordering based on model similarity alone is not worth the risk.

Throw Ratio Across Model Series

The same ET-DLE060 mounted on the following series does not have the same nominal throw ratio; selection should be based on the actual series of your projector.

4. Three Things to Confirm Before Replacement

  • Panel size must match. The ET-DLE060 is designed for 0.67-inch 1DLP panels. For projectors with a different panel size or resolution, even if the mount fits, the image circle and edge illumination will be problematic.
  • Calculate installation distance first. This lens has a nominal throw ratio of 0.600-0.801:1; use the table in Section 2 to determine the distance for your venue. Fixed lenses have no margin, and even for zoom lenses, allow 10–20 cm at both ends.
  • Verify the mount and locking mechanism. The original lens is calibrated to the mount of that projector series; after installation, you must hear the lock click into place. Image skew and soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking, not the lens itself.

If unsure, take a photo of the projector nameplate and the existing lens nameplate and send them to us—verification against the actual hardware is the safest approach.
