Digital Projection Original Lens ILSH-08 is an original optical accessory for Digital Projection professional projectors. It is a standard-throw (Standard Throw) lens with a throw ratio of 0.85-1.15:1 (UST zoom), designed for the 0.95inch 3DLP(E-Vision/Titan) inch panel. The manufacturer's compatibility list covers 2 models; simply verify the projector model and panel size before installation, with no need to make it fit using adapter rings. The value of an original lens lies not in the additional figures in the specification sheet, but in the fact that it is factory-calibrated to the optical path and mount of that projector series. Once installed, the image circle, edge illumination, and focus travel are all at their design values, with no need to use keystone correction to compensate for image quality.
1. Lens Specifications

The above specifications are based on the manufacturer's factory specifications. For mechanical dimensions, flange distance, and mount type not shown in the specification table, please verify them with us using the projector model. Placing an order based only on a similar model name carries the risk that the lens will not fit.
2. Installation Distance by Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This original lens is a zoom lens (0.85-1.15:1 (UST zoom)), so each image size corresponds to a range of distances, and it can be focused anywhere within that range during installation.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inch | 2.15 m | Approx. 1.83 – 2.47 m |
| 120 inch | 2.58 m | Approx. 2.19 – 2.97 m |
| 150 inch | 3.22 m | Approx. 2.74 – 3.71 m |
| 200 inch | 4.30 m | Approx. 3.65 – 4.94 m |
These are clear distances from the front of the lens to the projection screen and do not include space for rear cooling or cable connections behind the projector. Calculated for a 16:10 image; in practice, refer to on-site measurements and the manufacturer's manual.
Image quality differs at the two ends of the zoom range: the image is brighter and the edges are slightly softer at the near end, while the edges are sharper and brightness is slightly lower at the far end. Where venue conditions allow, the middle of the range is recommended. After installation, first find the sharpest position using the focus ring, then fine-tune the lens shift.
3. Compatible Models (2 units)
The following table is taken from the manufacturer's compatibility list. Brightness and resolution have been populated from the model database; where unavailable, they are shown as “—” and have not been estimated.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| E-Vision 8500 | — | — |
| Titan 8700 | — | — |
For compatibility with models not listed, please send us photos of the projector nameplate and current lens for verification. Projectors from the same generation often share a mount, but the risks of ordering based solely on similar model names are not worth taking.
Throw Ratios by Model Series
The rated throw ratio differs among the series listed below when the same ILSH-08 is installed. Use the value for the series of the actual projector when selecting a lens.
| Model Series | Throw Ratio |
|---|---|
| — | 0.85-1.15:1 (UST zoom) |
4. Three Checks Before Replacement
- The panel size must match.ILSH-08 is designed for the 0.95inch 3DLP(E-Vision/Titan) inch panel. Even if the lens fits the mount, a projector with a different panel size or resolution can cause problems with the image circle and edge illumination.
- Calculate the installation distance first. This lens has a rated throw ratio of 0.85-1.15:1 (UST zoom). Use the table in Section 2 to calculate the distance based on your venue dimensions. A fixed-focus lens offers no adjustment margin, and a zoom lens should also allow 10–20 cm of margin at both ends of the range.
- Verify the mount and locking mechanism. The original lens is calibrated to the mount of projectors in this series, and you must hear it click into the locked position after installation. A skewed image or soft edges are usually caused by incomplete locking, not a problem with the lens itself.
If you are unsure, send us one photo of the projector nameplate and one of the existing lens nameplate. Verification against the actual hardware is the safest approach.
