WD48A is a short-throw lens for the 0.65/0.66/0.67 panel family (Lansheng Kadun), with a throw ratio of 0.35:1. It is compatible with 1 projector model in 1 model series. This guide presents the lens specifications, installation distance, model compatibility list, and replacement considerations in one place.
1. Lens Specifications
| Model | WD48A |

| Series | WD Series |
| Throw Ratio | 0.35:1 |
| Lens Shift | Vertical -2% ~ +3% |
| Compatible Panel | 0.67 inches |

| Warranty | 12 months; damage not caused by the user may be handled through after-sales service, subject to the date shown on the shipping document. |
2. Calculating Installation Distance from Throw Ratio
The throw ratio is the ratio of the installation distance to the image width. This is a fixed lens (0.35:1), so the installation distance varies linearly with image size and offers no adjustment margin. Accurate measurements are essential before installation.
| Image Size | Image Width | Required Installation Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 inches | 2.15 m | Approx. 0.75 m |
| 120 inches | 2.58 m | Approx. 0.90 m |
| 150 inches | 3.22 m | Approx. 1.13 m |
| 200 inches | 4.30 m | Approx. 1.50 m |
The values above represent the clear distance from the front surface of the lens to the screen and do not account for clearance behind the chassis for heat dissipation and cable connections. They are calculated for a 16:10 image; actual on-site measurements and the manual take precedence.
3. Compatible Projector Models (1 Model, Lansheng Kadun)
The table below is ordered by model production date, from newest to oldest, and includes the resolution, brightness, and factory-lens zoom ratio for each model, making it easy to identify the right option for your project requirements.
| Model | Brightness | Resolution | Zoom Ratio |
|---|---|---|---|
| D130K | 13000 lumens | WUXGA 1920×1200 | — |
Common Characteristics of These Models
For the 1 model, the throw ratio of the factory standard lens is generally listed as Depends on the lens. The 0.35:1 lens featured in this article offers an adjusted focal-length range, allowing different image sizes at the same projection distance—this is the direct reason for replacing the lens. It also retains full lens-shift capability, so the image can still be aligned after adjusting the focal range.
4. Three Checks Before Replacement
- Panel size and resolution must match. This model is designed for a 0.67-inch panel. Projectors with a different panel size or resolution may show differences in projection performance, so checking the nameplate on the chassis before installation is the safest approach.
- Interfaces and locking mechanism. Interfaces are generally compatible within the same platform generation, but the position of the locking latch differs between generations. If the image appears skewed or the edges look soft after installation, the latch is usually not fully engaged; this is generally not a problem with the lens itself.
- A fixed lens has no zoom adjustment. Image size can only be changed by moving the projector, so the site dimensions must be measured accurately in advance, leaving an additional 10–20 cm at the endpoints.
For models outside the list, the safest approach is to send us the chassis nameplate and a photo of the original lens for verification—platforms of the same generation often share interfaces, but the risk of ordering based solely on a similar model designation is not worth taking.
